Qualifications

• One year of recent clinical experience preferably in primary or urgent care setting.
• Certified Medical Assistant or Equivalent Experience preferred.
• Certified Phlebotomy Technician preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and escort them to exam rooms.
• Prepare patients for radiology procedures.
• Obtain and record vital signs.
• Perform blood draws and administer injections.
• Prepare treatment rooms for examinations.
• Assist physicians and medical staff with procedures.

Skills

Proficient knowledge of computer systems including EMR

Proficiency with blood draws and injections

Excellent communication skills

Team player mentality

Education

LPN or RN with a clear and active license in Florida

BLS certification
