Responsibilities

• Order medications, equipment, and supplies as prescribed.
• Prepare and administer treatments/medications as ordered by the physician.
• Notify physician and family when resident condition changes.
• Administer nursing procedures such as tube feedings, suction, catheterization, dressings, packs, and irrigations.
• Continuously observe and monitor seriously ill residents.
• Advocate for residents and coordinate with the care team per the care plan.
• Complete charting accurately and promptly.
