Avamere Rehabilitation of Burien is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for PRN shifts at the 1031 SW 130th St location in Burien, WA. The role covers vital signs, medication administration, wound care, hygiene, and assistance with daily activities under RN supervision.

The ideal candidate holds an active LPN license in WA, CPR/BLS certification, and prior experience in long-term care or geriatric settings. EMR documentation experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Current, active LPN license in the state.
• Active CPR/BLS during employment.
• Experience in long-term care or geriatric rehab preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care including vital signs and hygiene.
• Administer medications under RN supervision.
• Perform wound care and monitor for infection.
• Assist with daily activities and mobility.
• Document care, vitals, and observations accurately.
• Communicate with residents, families, and healthcare staff.
• Supervise CNAs under RN guidance.
