Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a PRN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the team at Madison Correctional Institution in Madison, FL. The LPN provides holistic nursing care under the direction of RNs and medical staff for incarcerated patients.

This per diem position requires an active Florida LPN license (or eligibility), CPR certification, and the ability to obtain a security clearance including drug screen and background check. Two weeks of training are required.

Qualifications

• Florida LPN license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Active CPR certification is required.
• Corrections experience is not required.
• Ability to obtain security clearance including drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care within scope of practice to incarcerated patients under supervision of RNs and medical staff.
• Respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.
