Job summary

Armor Health invites an LPN to join its Riverside Regional Jail team in North Prince George, VA on a PRN day shift (7am–7:30pm). You will provide holistic nursing care in a correctional setting and support providers with examinations, treatments, and routine procedures.

Eligible candidates will hold a current LPN license and CPR certification, be proficient with EMR, and able to pass Level 2 background checks and drug screens.

Qualifications

Current active LPN license.
Current CPR certificate.
Proficient with electronic medical records.
Able to pass Level 2 background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

Provide holistic nursing care to patients in a correctional setting.
Assist health care providers with examinations, treatments, and procedures.
Obtain patient health history, vital signs, and TB skin tests.
Conduct lab tests and ensure results reach the physician or nurse.
Ensure patient is receiving proper care for injury or condition.
Review patient charts and report observed symptoms and changes.
Coordinate transfers, administer medications, and document contacts in POMR.
