Armor Health is seeking a Licensed Behavioral Health Professional to join our team at Riverside Regional Jail in North Prince George, VA. This PRN position on Day shift provides psychosocial assessments, counseling, crisis intervention, and case management within a correctional setting.

Qualifications include a Master’s in Social Work or related field, QMHP or LPC/LCSW, current license, CPR, and ability to pass background checks. Armor Health is committed to equal employment opportunity.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work or related field.
• QMHP or LPC/LCSW required.
• Current state Mental Health Professional license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to pass pre-employment Level 2 clearance to include background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychosocial assessments, counseling therapy, crisis intervention, and case management in a correctional facility.
• Collect information through interview, case history, psychological tests, and observation.
• Evaluate data to identify causes and determine proper therapeutic approach or referrals.
• Provide crisis management counseling and short-term therapy as needed.
• Prepare treatment and follow-up care programs.
• Provide therapeutic crisis intervention and emergency services as required.
• Demonstrate knowledge of DSM-5 criteria and appropriate intervention.
• Consult with other behavioral health practitioners as appropriate.
