Job summary

Good Samaritan Society in Brainerd, MN is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a PRN position in long-term care. You will provide professional nursing care under supervision, administer medications, document care, and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to meet residents’ needs.

Shifts vary, with weekend rotation and holiday coverage; a weekend incentive applies. Registered nurses will guide care as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program.
• Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
• Must hold an unencumbered LPN license and maintain required competencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for residents in long-term care.
• Administer medications or treatments as ordered.
• Document resident interactions and outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team and communicate with residents and families.
