Job summary

Qualifications

• Missouri active LPN or RN license in good standing.
• Private duty, home health, or clinical nursing experience preferred.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a PRN capacity.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients and families.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.
• Reliable transportation and ability to commute to Brentwood, MO and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, one-on-one private duty nursing care to patients in home or facility settings
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies per physician orders
• Monitor and document patient health status, vital signs, and changes in condition
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in coordination with the healthcare team
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care team members regarding patient progress
• Perform skilled nursing procedures including wound care, catheter care, and IV therapy as applicable
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and dignity throughout all care interactions
