Addus is seeking a PRN LPN to provide nursing support to clients in their homes, under RN supervision. The role emphasizes flexible scheduling, independent practice, and adherence to Medicaid/HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities include medication set-ups, skin assessments, documentation, and routine supervisory visits, with paid mileage and a company benefits package. New graduates are welcomed and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing and current LPN licensure in the state of practice.
• New nurses welcome, will train.
• Ability to make home visits and provide nursing care in the home environment.
• No weight restrictions.
• Home care experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Must have reliable transportation, current driver's license and appropriate automobile insurance; or ability to take public transportation.
• Ability to complete necessary documentation appropriately, legibly, and timely.
• Interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills necessary to complete job responsibilities.

Job description

We are seeking a PRN LPN to provide nursing support to clients within our agency. This role is critical to meeting current care plan requirements, skilled nursing in a home seeting. The Licensed practical nurse performs assessments and simple medical nursing procedures in client's homes, under the guidance of the RN Supervisor, in accordance with physician's orders.

Hours: self-scheduled during the week. Monday through Friday.
