Job summary

Wellstar in Georgia seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide ambulatory care under RN supervision. This Float position requires traveling to assignments across Augusta, Aiken, Martinez, Evans, Grovetown, Thomson and Lake Oconee to deliver quality patient care.

The ideal candidate holds a Georgia LPN license, current BLS, and is willing to work a day shift from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with PRN float coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Current Georgia Licensed Practical Nursing License.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Licensed to practice as a nurse (LPN) in the State of Georgia; Multi-State LPN Compact preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide ambulatory patient nursing care under RN supervision.
• Implement the plan of care initiated by the RN and provide quality, cost-effective care.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for the nursing care of the ambulatory patient. The LPN provides care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The LPN is responsible for implementing the plan of care initiated by the registered nurse and for providing quality, cost-effective patient care. In this Float position, LPN Will Travel to Assignments in these areas: Augusta, Aiken, Martinez, Evans, Grovetown, Thomson and Lake Oconee.

Position Minimum Requirements (Education, Experience, Licensure, Skills)

• Current Georgia Licensed Practical Nursing License
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Licensed to practice as a nurse (LPN) in the State of Georgia
• Preference is for an active Multi-State LPN Compact License.
