Job summary

Wellstar Health Systems in Georgia seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join ambulatory care as a float, delivering nursing care under RN supervision and assisting with care plan implementation.

The role involves traveling to Augusta, Aiken, Martinez, Evans, Grovetown, Thomson, and Lake Oconee locations. Day shift, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, PRN float duties. Requires a Georgia LPN license and BLS; multi-state compact license preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Georgia Licensed Practical Nursing License.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Licensed to practice as a nurse in the State of Georgia.
• Preference for an active Multi-State LPN Compact License.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care under supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Implement the plan of care initiated by the RN and ensure quality patient care.
• Float to assignments across multiple ambulatory sites in listed areas.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for the nursing care of the ambulatory patient. The LPN provides care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The LPN is responsible for implementing the plan of care initiated by the registered nurse and for providing quality, cost-effective patient care.

In this Float position, LPN Will Travel to Assignments in these areas:

• Augusta
• Aiken
• Martinez
• Evans
• Grovetown
• Thomson
• Lake Oconee

Position Minimum Requirements (Education, Experience, Licensure, Skills):

• Current Georgia Licensed Practical Nursing License
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Licensed to practice as a nurse (LPN) in the State of Georgia
• Preference is for an active Multi-State LPN Compact License.
