Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a PRN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the team at Southwestern Illinois Correctional Center in East St. Louis, IL. The role involves holistic nursing care for incarcerated patients under supervision of RNs and medical staff.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, an Illinois LPN license, CPR certification, and ability to obtain security clearance. Per diem shift with comprehensive benefits is provided.

Job Details: Job Location: Southwestern Illinois Correctional Center - East St. Louis, IL 62203, Position Type: Per Diem, Education Level: High School Diploma/GED, Job Category: Nursing Professional & Support, Hourly salary of $32.61/hour + $4/hour PRN differential.

We offer a $4/hour differential on evenings and $3/hour differential on nights.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Clear/Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Illinois or ability to obtain one required
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
