Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a per diem Registered Nurse (RN) to join the care team at Southwestern Illinois Correctional Center in East St. Louis, IL.

The RN will provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under supervision, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The role requires an RN license (or ability to obtain one) and CPR certification, with compensation including an hourly base rate plus PRN differentials and evening/night differentials.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required
• Registered Nurse (RN) license or ability to obtain one required
• Must be CPR certified
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, including drug screen and criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients within the scope of practice under the DON or Nursing Supervisor and in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team.
• Assess and respond to physical, psychological, and social needs of patients while maintaining safety and security requirements.

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Illinois Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a Full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Southwestern Illinois Correctional Center in East St. Louis, Illinois.

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree required
• Registered Nurse (RN) license or ability to obtain one required
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
