Job summary

Parkway Care and Rehab in Edwardsville, Kansas seeks a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a compassionate clinical team. You will provide high-quality resident care, monitor conditions, administer medications, and collaborate with the care team.

We offer a competitive hourly salary of $27 to $34, plus a $2 per hour CARES bonus, in a supportive environment that encourages growth. Shifts are 12 hours, 6pm to 6am, with rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• LPN licensure with the KS Board of Nursing
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations
• Desire to work with the elderly
• Experience in medical, surgical, or geriatric nursing is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide total care for residents, including monitoring their condition and needs, administering medications and treatments, and reporting any changes in their condition
• Manage staff and oversee the nursing assistant-registered (NAR) staff to ensure excellence in resident care
• Complete documentation, admit and discharge residents, and report any bruises, skin tears, or neglect
• Maintain confidentiality and follow Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) requirements
• Provide excellent customer service and build relationships with residents, their families, visitors, and colleagues
