Edwardsville Care Center in Edwardsville, KS is hiring a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our caring clinical team. You will monitor residents, administer medications, and implement care plans under physician orders.

LPN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitoring their condition and needs
• Carry out physician orders to administer medications and treatments
• Ensure the narcotic policies and procedures are followed
• Monitor for side effects, and report any changes in the condition.
• Oversee the CNAs to make sure that resident care plans are being followed.
• Admit/discharge residents and associated assessments and paperwork.

Qualifications for a LPN

• LPN licensure with the KS Board of Nursing
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations
• Desire to work with the elderly and mentally ill

Experience in mental health, medical, surgical, or geriatric nursing is preferred but not required. Are you trustworthy and respectful of others?
