Job summary

Encore Senior Living is seeking a PRN 1st-Shift Licensed Nurse at our South Barrington, IL community. The ideal candidate will administer medications, assist with daily care, and ensure resident safety in a warm, home-like environment.

Qualifications

• One-year experience in a health care environment or equivalent preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• We offer a full training program and are willing to train the right candidate!

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents and assist with daily care.
• Store medications and equipment and keep the medication room clean and orderly.
• Maintain resident records regarding medication distribution and ensure proper labeling.
• Monitor health, safety and well-being of residents and report changes to Wellness Director.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing and eating.
