We are seeking a dedicated PRN Licensed Dental Hygienist to join our team in Fergus Falls, MN. Our flexible staffing model allows you to choose your schedule, providing work-life balance while delivering excellent patient care. As part of our dental team, you will promote oral health through direct patient care and education.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive oral hygiene care, including prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
• Assess and document patient conditions, collaborating with the dental team for treatment plans.
• Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as permitted by state regulations.
• Maintain accurate patient records using OpenDental and other dental software.
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment.
• Travel as needed to support community sites, possibly using a company vehicle or personal transportation.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program.
• Active Minnesota Dental Hygienist License.
• 2-4 years of clinical experience preferred.
• Current CPR (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Local anesthesia and nitrous oxide certification.
• Effective communication skills in English; Spanish proficiency preferred.
• Ability to work under a Collaborative Agreement following regulations.
• Willingness to learn Open Dental, Microsoft Office, and other systems.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
