We are seeking a dedicated PRN Licensed Dental Hygienist to join our team in Minneapolis, MN. Our flexible staffing model allows you to choose your schedule, providing work-life balance while delivering excellent patient care. As a vital part of our dental team, you will promote oral health through direct patient care and education.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide comprehensive oral hygiene care, including prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing.
2. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
3. Assess and document patient conditions, collaborating with the dental team for treatment planning.
4. Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as permitted by state regulations.
5. Maintain accurate patient records using Open Dental and other dental software.
6. Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment.
7. Travel as needed to support community sites, including driving company or personal transportation.

Requirements

1. Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program.
2. Active Minnesota Dental Hygienist License.
3. 2-4 years of clinical experience preferred.
4. Current CPR (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
5. Certification in local anesthesia and nitrous oxide.
6. Effective communication skills in English; Spanish proficiency preferred.
7. Ability to work under a signed Collaborative Agreement per regulations.
8. Proficiency or willingness to learn Open Dental, Microsoft Office, and other systems.
9. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
