Job summary

Priority Management is seeking a Full-time laundry aide to support the daily operations of our facility. You will handle routine laundry tasks, ensure cleanliness, and follow safety and infection control protocols.

You'll label, track, and prepare linen and supplies, record production and inventory, and work closely with the Laundry Supervisor to maintain par levels and smooth workflow. Strong organizational and teamwork skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Able to read, write and understand instructions.
• Physical ability to push, pull, move and carry at least 25 pounds over 50 feet.
• Follows proper infection control protocols.
• Labels and tracks laundry items with identifying information.
• Records production and inventory data per facility policy.
• Attends department and staff meetings as directed.

Job description

We are searching for a Full time laundry aide to support the functions of our facility. The primary purpose of this position is to perform the day-to-day activities of the department as directed by the Supervisor.To be successful as a laundry aide, you should demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, such as the ability to:Demonstrate excellent time management skills.Work well with team members.Follow proper infection control protocols.Label or mark personal articles of clothing (blankets, sweaters, etc.) for laundry with identifying information including name, barcode or reference number as appropriate.Record production and inventory information in accordance with facility policies (i.e., pounds of laundry, loads, etc.).Prepare linen and supply order to meet established par levels as directed by the Laundry Supervisor to replenish stock and/or replace frayed or torn items.Attend department and staff meetings as directed or called.Perform specific tasks in accordance with daily work assignments; non-routine assignments as directed.Perform assigned tasks in accordance with established laundry procedures and facility policies.Must be able to read write and understand instructions, maintain the care and use of supplies, must be able to move intermittently throughout the day, must be able to push pull move and or lift a min of 25 pounds to a minimum height of five feet and be able to push pull move or carry weight a minimum distance of 50 feet.On the job training provided.must learn the equipment to wash and dry linen, and safety measures.
