Gifted Healthcare is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN to monitor patients during labor and to serve as the primary contact for families. You will monitor the baby’s heart rate and provide immediate newborn care.

Responsibilities include phlebotomy knowledge, basic IVs, and central lines; assess maternal vital signs during labor and post-partum; administer pain medication and other ordered medicines; and educate and support new mothers and families on infant care. Shift: Days.

Job description

Labor and Delivery RNs (L&D RNs) are responsible for monitoring patients throughout labor and serve as the primary point of contact for family members. L&D RNs monitor the baby’s heart rate and provide immediate care to the newborn. L&D RN job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
