Job summary

Brown University Health is seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide comprehensive care for patients undergoing procedures in Diagnostic Imaging, Interventional Radiology, CT, MRI and ultrasound. Responsibilities include direct patient care, monitoring during peri-procedural periods, administering medications and supporting radiologists and radiology staff.

The role requires RI RN licensure, ACLS & BLS certification, and prior ICU-level or ER trauma experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Must have current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Rhode Island (RI) or other compacts.
• ACLS & BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care.
• Assess and monitor patient condition during pre-, peri-, and post-procedural periods.
• Administer medications and conscious sedation as appropriate under supervision.
• Assist radiologists with procedures and maintain patient safety and documentation.
• Collaborate with radiology and nursing staff to ensure continuity of care.
