Job summary

Pyramid Healthcare Inc. is seeking a PRN Inpatient Substance Use Counselor & Group Facilitator in York, PA. This role focuses on group facilitation for adults in an inpatient program without an individual counseling caseload.

You will lead substance use disorder and mental health groups, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and ensure timely clinical documentation while upholding regulatory standards in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field with licensure or certification (CAADC) is required or eligible.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field with CADC, or eligibility to obtain.
• Associate's degree in a related field with CAAC, or eligibility to obtain.
• High school diploma with CAAC.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate engaging substance use disorder and mental health group sessions.
• Foster a safe, supportive, and therapeutic group environment.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary treatment team to support client progress.
• Complete accurate clinical documentation in the electronic health record.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards.
• Respond appropriately to client needs and crisis situations.
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and other duties as assigned.

As a PRN Substance Use Disorder Counselor, you will primarily facilitate substance use disorder and mental health groups for adult clients in our inpatient program. This role is ideal for clinicians who enjoy group work and are seeking a flexible schedule. Please note that this position is focused on group facilitation and does not include an individual counseling caseload.
