Inpatient Hospitalist NP or PA

UVA Community Health is seeking to employ a PRN Inpatient Hospitalist NP or PA to join our rapidly growing provider team at Culpeper Medical Center. UVA Community Health is committed to caring for the whole person through an integrated network of inpatient and outpatient services. Our campus includes a 70-bed hospital, Family Birth Center, and 24/7 emergency department.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Visiting bedside and answering questions
  2. Ordering tests, medications, and treatments
  3. Communicating with patients, families, and primary care physicians about condition and care
  4. Consulting with specialists as needed
  5. Providing discharge instructions for further care, medications, and follow-up
  6. Sending hospital care summaries to primary care physicians
