Job summary

Elevance Health's Paragon Infusion Centers in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Registered Nurse (PRN) to administer therapies and provide patient care in a multi-site infusion setting. This role supports 1–3 days per week with day shifts and requires in-person work at the posted location.

Ideal candidates hold ASN/ADN, an RN license, and multi-state licensure if applicable, with 2+ years of clinical experience. Travel to worksites may be required to cover clinical coverage and ensure quality care.

Qualifications

• Requires ASN or ADN and at least 2 years of clinical experience.
• RN license current and unrestricted in applicable state.
• Multi-state licensure required if practicing in multiple states.
• TB test completion and Hepatitis B vaccine or signed waiver as required by Paragon/Carelon Health.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties within the Nurse’s scope of practice and facility policies.
• Administers therapies according to orders and protocols.
• Completes admission process as directed by Center Director.
• Performs patient assessments and documents findings.
• Refer to the NP on duty for comprehensive assessment when needed.
• Documents all pertinent data in the medical record.
• Reports significant changes to Center Director and ensures follow-up.
• Evaluates patient response to therapy and documents results.
• Educates patients and families about the therapy plan.
• Ensures medication orders are complete and up-to-date.
• Adheres to HIPAA and all laws/regulations.
• May travel to worksite and other locations as necessary.
