Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System is seeking a PRN ICU Registered Nurse for the Day shift in Ontario, Oregon. You will provide specialized nursing care, collaborate with the care team, and advocate for patients and families while delivering timely assessments, treatments, and education.

The role requires an active RN license and BLS; ACLS/PALS may be required within 6 months of hire. This PRN position offers flexible hours within a high-quality care environment under Trinity Health.

Qualifications

• A current RN license is required.
• ACLS and/or PALS may be accepted in lieu of BLS.
• ACLS/PALS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care in collaboration with the health care team.
• Maintains accurate and complete documentation of nursing services; acts as patient advocate.
• Performs and documents comprehensive physical and psychosocial assessments; educates patients and families.
• Develops, implements and evaluates a plan of care; communicates status and plan to caregivers.
• Delivers medications and ensures safe operation of patient care equipment.
• Practices within professional standards and complies with state nursing regulations.
