Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System in Ontario, Oregon, is seeking a Full Time ICU RN for the night shift. You will provide professional nursing care, collaborate with the care team, and support patients and families on a demanding overnight unit.

This role requires an active RN license, BLS (ACLS/PALS may be accepted), and ACLS/PALS within 6 months of hire. You will perform assessments, implement plans, administer meds, ensure safety, and participate in quality care delivery.

Qualifications

• Current RN license required.
• Multistate licensure must establish residency with Idaho Board of Nursing within 60 days from hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS/PALS may be accepted in lieu of BLS.
• ACLS/PALS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care in collaboration with the health care team.
• Maintains documentation of nursing services and acts as patient advocate.
• Educates patients and families and develops plans of care.
• Administers medications and uses nursing interventions safely.
• Demonstrates knowledge of safety policies and hospital procedures.
