Cantex Continuing Care Network in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant PRN to perform scheduled cleaning across patient rooms and common areas. Responsibilities include sanitizing spaces, handling cleaning chemicals, and maintaining safe environments in accordance with facility protocols.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, safety, and teamwork within a healthcare setting. Experience in institutional housekeeping is beneficial; English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in institutional housekeeping or maintenance helpful.
• Experience using floor-care equipment helpful.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsabilités

• Cleans and sanitizes patient rooms, bathrooms, and common areas daily per facility protocols.
• Uses appropriate cleaning chemicals in proper portions.
• Empties trash, replaces liners, and disposes of waste correctly.
• Vacuums carpets as directed by Supervisor.
• Washes and dries windows using proper chemicals and equipment.
• Reports repair needs to Supervisor or maintenance.
• Requests needed supplies and equipment from Supervisor.
• Identifies safety hazards and follows safety rules.
• Complies with Abuse Prevention policies and procedures.
• Attends weekly in-services and supports Patient Care Management Systems.
• Ensures patient/resident safety.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
