Job summary

Hartgrove Behavioral Health System is seeking a PRN/ Flex Day shift transporter to coordinate and operate hospital vehicles and to provide escort and transportation services to patients. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, prior patient transport experience, a valid driver’s license with clean driving history, and good English communication.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience: Prior experience with patient transport required.
• Licensure/Certification: Valid driver’s license with verification of limited accidents and violations in specified years.
• Knowledge: Ability to read, write, and speak English; ability to follow directions and read maps/manuals.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule authorized use of Hospital vehicles.
• Operate Hospital vehicles and complete maintenance tasks.
• Provide escort and transportation services to adult, children and adolescent patients.
• Maintain records as required by policies and procedures.
• Ensure a safe and sanitary environment.
