Job summary

CoxHealth is seeking a licensed psychologist to deliver comprehensive psychological services in a PRN capacity at CoxHealth South and related facilities in Springfield, MO. The role involves diagnostic evaluation, psychotherapy, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.

Education required: Doctorate in clinical or counseling psychology; MO license or license-eligible. 1–3 years' related experience preferred. Travel between hospitals may be required, with day-shift coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in clinical/counseling psychology from an APA-approved program.
• Preferred: specialized training in clinical psychology, neuropsychology, or health psychology.
• 1–3 years related experience in clinical psychology or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic and treatment services including individual, group, and family therapy.
• Conduct psychosocial assessments and health psychology interventions.
• Work with an interdisciplinary team to implement standards and care plans.
• Possibly provide program consultation, staff education, or supervision; travel between two hospitals ~30 minutes apart.
