Job summary

Community Rehabilitation Hospital North in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Pharmacist for PRN coverage. You will verify orders, monitor medication management processes, and supervise Pharmacy Technicians while ensuring the safe operation of the computerized pharmacy system.

The role emphasizes accurate pharmacotherapy, collaboration with clinical staff, and maintaining high standards of patient care. A BS Pharm or PharmD and an active state license are required, with hospital experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current state license to practice pharmacy required.
• Two years' hospital pharmacy experience preferred.

How you'll contribute

• Verifies physician medication orders with accuracy and timeliness.
• Monitors and evaluates the six critical processes of medication management; determines risk points and is an active participant with physicians and clinical staff in continuous quality and performance improvement.
• Verifies and approves the work of Pharmacy Technician(s).
• Responsible for the management and utilization of the computerized pharmacy system.
• Orders and stores medications, keeping them safe and effective.

Qualifications and requirements:
