Job summary

Valley Vital Care, Inc. is seeking a new PRN infusion nurse to support Virginia and West Virginia locations. The role requires IV infusion experience, clinical assessment, and accurate EMR documentation while traveling between sites and patient homes.

You will administer parenteral medications, monitor patients, and educate families, with a flexible, on-the-road schedule and a contract arrangement.

Qualifications

• RN with licensure and patient care experience.
• IV access and parenteral medication administration.
• Strong documentation and EMR skills.
• Excellent communication and empathy with patients and caregivers.
• Infusion experience preferred; travel nursing ability.

Responsibilities

• Review orders, medications, and health records; administer parenteral meds per plan.
• Assess patient health status, detect changes, and notify supervising clinician.
• Document all activities in EMR and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain safety, accuracy, and quality of infusion care.
• Provide teaching to patients and family about the care plan.
