Job summary

CorsoCare Personal Care In-Homes seeks a Home Health Aide (PRN) to cover private homes in Gaines and surrounding areas within a 40-minute radius. You will provide compassionate, personalized assistance and support residents with day-to-day activities.

Responsibilities include bathing, grooming, meal prep, light housekeeping, medication assistance per protocol, charting, and transportation to appointments. Shifts are 7a-11a and 5-9p. Driver’s license preferred; HS diploma or GED required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Healthcare, geriatrics or elderly care experience preferred.
• Desire to work with geriatric population essential.
• Driver’s License and Proof of Insurance.
• Training per state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide care support to private homes within assigned geographical region.
• Comfortable driving up to an hour (45-50 miles).
• Bathe and clean residents by bed bath, shower or whirlpool.
• Assist with grooming, nails, makeup, and eyewear care.
• Assist with dressing and maintaining client dignity.
• Make beds, change linens, and tidy rooms.
• Assist with meals and light housekeeping.
• Follow medication administration protocols per client.
• Document daily charting and report changes to Care Coordinator.
• Provide transportation to appointments as requested.
• Support activity programming and ROM as assigned.
