Job summary

Memorial Health University Medical Center is seeking a Linen Specialist PRN to manage linens and textiles across the facility while supporting housekeeping duties as needed. This role contributes to safe, clean patient environments and material flow in a large regional hospital.

We value experienced healthcare staff who can handle linen inventory, data entry, and cross-functional collaboration with care teams.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or Equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience in healthcare preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in housekeeping or service-related field preferred.
• Computer, Electronic Tablets and basic technology skills required.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety and linen/textile policies.
• Adhere to storage, handling and disposal of linen/textile waste.
• Manage pars/quantities of linen and textiles.
• Deliver linen and textiles to patient care and non-patient care areas.
• Stock linen and textiles in various areas.
• Enter linen data into the management system and generate reports.
• Manage service recovery as needed.
• Work with leadership on patient experience improvements.
