Job summary

Elevare Behavioral Health seeks a dependable PRN Maintenance Technician to support safety, functionality, and regulatory readiness across detox, residential, and outpatient settings in Centennial, CO.

The role performs repairs, preventive maintenance, safety inspections, and facility support while helping ensure compliance with The Joint Commission standards and state regulations. Hours vary by need with occasional evenings, weekends, and emergencies.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience, healthcare or behavioral health settings preferred.
Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems and building maintenance.
Ability to safely operate hand tools and maintenance equipment.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Strong troubleshooting, time management, communication and problem-solving skills.
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; work order systems preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform routine and preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, equipment, and facility systems.
Complete work orders promptly and document repairs and inspections.
Repair and maintain doors, locks, windows, flooring, drywall, fixtures, furniture, patient rooms, and other areas.
Conduct safety rounds and environmental inspections and promptly address hazards, safety concerns, and ligature risks.
Support compliance with Joint Commission Environment of Care, fire safety, life safety, infection control, and licensing requirements.
Inspect safety equipment and support emergency preparedness activities, fire drills, emergency signage, and clear egress pathways.
Maintain tools, maintenance equipment, supplies, Safety Data Sheets, and storage of chemicals and hazardous materials.
Assist with special projects, unexpected maintenance needs, emergency repairs, vendor coordination, and coverage when additional maintenance support is needed.
