HealthSource of Wicker Park & Downtown Mokena is seeking a PRN Floater to provide both administrative front-office support and rehabilitation assistance across two Chicago-area HealthSource offices. The role involves welcoming patients, managing calls and appointments, and helping patients with exercises and therapy moves.

The position offers weekday availability, travel between locations, and a flexible PRN schedule to support coverage during staff absences.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare, chiropractic, fitness, rehabilitation, or customer service is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administrative & Front Office Duties: Welcome patients, answer phones, schedule appointments, assist with check-in/out, maintain patient records, support daily operations.
• Rehabilitation Specialist Duties: Guide patients through prescribed exercises and movements, ensure proper form, encourage adherence to plans, maintain rehab area, support wellness goals.
• Floater Responsibilities: Provide coverage at Wicker Park and Downtown Mokena, travel between locations, adapt to different office routines and teams.

Locations: Wicker Park, Chicago, IL & Downtown Mokena, IL

Availability: Weekdays, as needed

We’re looking for a dependable, energetic, and wellness-minded PRN Floater to join our HealthSource team! This unique position is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a team environment, and wants to make a difference in patients’ lives through chiropractic care and rehabilitation.

You will provide coverage at both of our office locations when full-time team members are sick, on vacation, or otherwise unavailable. This role combines front-office administrative responsibilities with rehabilitation support, so no two days are exactly alike!

What You’ll Do

Administrative & Front Office Duties

• Welcome patients with a friendly, professional attitude and create a positive patient experience.
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and assist with patient check-in and check-out.
• Help maintain accurate patient records and complete administrative tasks.
• Support daily office operations and help keep the clinic organized and running smoothly.
• Assist with patient communication, appointment reminders, and other front-office needs.

Rehabilitation Specialist Duties

• Guide patients through their prescribed rehabilitation exercises and therapeutic movements.
• Help patients understand proper exercise form and technique.
• Encourage patients to stay consistent with their care plans and celebrate their progress.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming rehabilitation area.
• Work alongside the chiropractic team to support patients’ wellness goals.

Floater Responsibilities

• Provide coverage at both Wicker Park and Downtown Mokena as needed.
• Be available to work weekdays when coverage is needed, including shifts scheduled to cover employee illnesses, vacations, and other absences.
• Have reliable transportation and the ability to travel between both office locations as needed.
• Adapt quickly to different office routines, team members, and patient needs.
• Communicate availability promptly and maintain a flexible, reliable schedule.
