Job summary

Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital Oklahoma City South is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Float Pool on a PRN basis, with varied 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM or 7:00 PM–7:00 AM). You will work with a collaborative team delivering safe, patient-centered care in a rehabilitation setting.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license, an associate degree in nursing, and BLS certification, with preferred experience in Med/Surg or rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state or compact jurisdiction.
• Associate degree in nursing required; BSN preferred.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Experience in Med/Surg or Rehabilitation settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
• Performs timely and accurate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments.
