Education Level2 Year Degree| POSITION TITLE: | PRN Firefighter/ Paramedic || LOCATION: | Station 1, 2, & 3 || | Ineligible for benefits due to PRN status. |* Perform firefighting actives including driving fire apparatuses, operating pumps and related equipment, laying hose, and performing fire combat, containment, and extinguishment tasks.* Perform emergency aid activities, including administering first aid and providing other assistance as required.* Attend classes in firefighting, emergency medical, hazardous materials, and related subjects with successful completion.* Receive and relay fire calls and alarms. Operate radio and other communication equipment.* Participate in the inspection of buildings, hydrants, and other structures in fire prevention programs.* Maintain fire equipment, apparatuses, and facilities.
