Job summary

The therapist collaborates with the Clinical Manager, adheres to policies, and maintains high standards of care while updating treatment progress and outcomes through the treatment plan. This is a PRN position at the Marillac Campus.

• Ability to engage clients and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide primarily group therapy to patients.
• Develop, organize, coordinate and implement therapeutic activities (music, art, recreation, drama).
• Perform professional, clinical and technical competencies of the unit or department.
• Participate in workshops and review professional publications to maintain competence.
• Ensure continuity and quality of patient care and treatment.
• Facilitate treatment plan implementation and schedule daily group therapy; monitor progress.
