Job summary

Mortenson Dental Partners is seeking an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) to join our Prospect, KY practice on a PRN basis. The role supports clinicians, maintains aseptic protocols, and delivers compassionate patient care, with compensation up to $25 per hour based on experience.

You will prep rooms, sterilize instruments, assist the dentist, and complete clinical notes before discharge. Requirements include CPR/X-ray certification and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• CPR/X-ray certification is required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and equipment.
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the treatment room for patients.
• Provides instrumentation by sterilizing and delivering instruments to the treatment area; positioning instruments for the dentist's access, suctioning, and passing instruments.
• Completes Clinical notes before dismissing patients
