Job summary

Christian Living Communities (CLC) is seeking a compassionate Assisted Living Personal Care Partner II (QMAP) for Cappella Pueblo West. This PRN role covers shifts to support residents with daily care and medication assistance, emphasizing dignity and safety.

You will help with bathing, dressing, meals, laundry, and medication administration, documenting accurately and ensuring residents receive meds on time. Multitasking and confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• Medication certification is required by program rules.
• QMAP-A/L or Med Tech/Med Aide credentials enhance eligibility.
• Strong communication and confidentiality are essential.

Responsibilities

Job Description

Our PRN team members assist the Community by covering shifts that become open either from PTO, or call offs.

At Cappella Pueblo West, we believe in a Culture of Citizenship — where each person brings unique gifts, perspectives, and value to our community. We are seeking a caring and dependable Assisted Living Personal Care Partner II (QMAP) to support residents with daily care and medication assistance.

In this role, you will help residents with personal care needs such as bathing, dressing, meals, laundry, and daily routines. You will also support medication administration by following established procedures, documenting accurately, and helping ensure residents receive the right medication at the right time.

The ideal candidate is compassionate, observant, and committed to resident safety and well-being. You will communicate changes in resident needs, support families as appropriate, and work closely with team members to provide respectful, person-centered care.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications & Experience

• Per the state of operation requirements, Medication certification; QMAP-A/L, Med Tech, Med Aide, Nurse Delegation
• Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
• High school or Equivalent (GED)
• One (1) year experience in some level of elder care preferred
• Strong self-management and organization skills
• Strong multi-tasking abilities with the ability to handle competing deadlines, flexible and adaptable (Open to change).
• Ability to effectively handle difficult and sensitive issues and maintain confidentiality

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements

• Moderate physical activity required by handling objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently.
• Constant standing, walking, and grasping. Frequent stooping and reaching above shoulder heights, occasional sitting, crawling, kneeling, and squatting.
• May have exposure to blood borne pathogens, body excretions and communicable diseases possible.
• Possible exposure to household chemicals.
• Sits, stands, bends, and moves intermittently during working hours.
• May be subject to frequent interruptions.
• Interacts with clients, family members and visitors frequently.
