HCA Healthcare's Aurora Endoscopy Center in Aurora, CO is hiring an Endoscopy PACU Nurse (PRN). You will provide postoperative nursing care, monitor vitals, manage IVs, and support safe discharge with a family-centered approach.

Qualifications include an Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma, active RN license, and BCLS (online not acceptable) with ACLS and PALS when required by the facility. Join a team dedicated to high-quality ambulatory surgery care.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma required.
• 1+ year nursing experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Active RN license required by state of employment.
• BCLS certification required at employment; online not acceptable.
• ACLS required within 30 days; PALS if facility requires it.

Responsibilities

• Prepare care area and ensure necessary equipment and supplies.
• Demonstrate proper airway management techniques.
• Monitor patient vitals per policy (cardiac, temp, etc.).
• Insert, maintain and remove IV catheters and saline locks.
• Perform head-to-toe evaluation using approved scoring system.
• Check dressings and report abnormalities to surgeon.
• Provide a safe, comforting environment for patients and families.
• Ensure patients meet discharge criteria.
