Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with endoscopy procedures as assigned by a registered nurse.

• Assist in scheduling and rescheduling of patients.
• Ensure safe care to patients, staff and visitors; adhere to policies within budget specifications.
• Promote professional growth and development by meeting requirements for continuing education.
• Support department goals and act as a preceptor and resource to less experienced staff.

Position Summary

Endoscopy Tech, varied shifts, PRN (as needed); no on-call required. BLS required (American Heart Association). SGNA preferred. 1+ year of Endoscopy experience preferred. This position is located at Memorial Hermann Memorial City.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with endoscopy procedures as assigned by a registered nurse, delivering appropriate care to patients according to the Endoscopy Skills Inventory.
• Obtain and prepare supplies and instruments according to individual physician preferences; restock supplies and maintain the endoscopy rooms.
• Assist in scheduling and rescheduling of patients.
• Ensure safe care to patients, staff and visitors; adhere to Memorial Hermann policies, procedures and standards within budgetary specifications including time management, supply management, productivity and quality of service.
• Promote professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education and skills competency.
• Support department-based goals, serve as a preceptor, mentor and resource to less experienced staff.
• Demonstrate commitment to caring for every member of our community by creating compassionate and personalized experiences.

Qualifications
