1st Response Occupational Health is seeking a skilled PRN EMT or Paramedic to provide on-site medical support at an active construction site in San Antonio, TX. You will respond to emergencies, perform assessments, and coordinate with EMS for transport while upholding occupational health protocols.

Qualifications

• Current EMT-Basic or Paramedic certification in Texas.
• Valid CPR/BLS certification.
• Experience in occupational health, industrial, or construction-site medicine preferred.
• Ability to make sound clinical decisions in the field.
• Strong communication with a diverse workforce.
• Physically able to work outdoors on construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency and non-emergency medical care to construction site workers.
• Perform patient assessments, triage, and treatment on-site.
• Administer first aid, wound care, and basic life support as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient care reports and documentation.
• Coordinate with local EMS and hospitals for patient transport when necessary.
• Conduct site safety monitoring and support occupational health protocols.
• Maintain and inventory medical equipment and supplies at the job site.
• Correlate with 1st Response Occupational Providers.

About the Role:

1st Response Occupational Health is looking for a skilled PRN EMT or Paramedic to provide on-site medical support at an active construction site in San Antonio, TX. Responsibilities:

• Provide emergency and non-emergency medical care to construction site workers
• Perform patient assessments, triage, and treatment for injuries and illnesses on-site
• Administer first aid, wound care, and basic life support (BLS) as needed
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient care reports and medical documentation
• Coordinate with local EMS and hospital systems for patient transport when necessary
• Conduct site safety monitoring and support occupational health protocols
• Maintain and inventory medical equipment and supplies at the job site
• Correlate with 1st Response Occupational Providers

Requirements:

• Current EMT-Basic or Paramedic certification in the state of Texas
• Valid CPR/BLS certification required
• Prior occupational health, industrial, or construction site medical experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions in the field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with diverse workforce populations
• Physical ability to work outdoors in varying weather and construction site conditions
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable with a PRN (as-needed) schedule
