Job summary

Onsite Innovations LLC is seeking an experienced EMT for a PRN position at our onsite healthcare clinic serving construction sites across New York City. The role will provide emergency medical and trauma care, triage, and urgent care in fast-paced environments.

Schedule includes day shifts M-F with at least one site offering a 5pm-2am shift. The EMT will perform medical procedures as ordered, manage patient care, and ensure HIPAA compliance while delivering high-quality service and a respectful

Qualifications

• EMT certification and clinical skills
• Strong interpersonal and patient-care abilities
• Knowledge of emergency medical protocols and triage procedures
• Ability to maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality

Responsibilities

• May perform DOT and Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing - training provided
• Prepare patients for physical examinations, vital signs, vaccines, phlebotomy, tests
• May perform rapid screening tests (influenza, strep, mono, glucose, etc.) - training provided
• Determine nature and extent of illness or injury to establish first aid procedures
• Perform routine medical procedures as ordered and triage emergent patients
• Assist with case management of injuries and follow-up care
• Work independently and under pressure, make quick decisions
• Dispense medications and DME as ordered by treating clinician
• Administer first-aid treatments and resuscitation as needed
• Coordinate with EMS and hospital staff for patient transfer
• Maintain and operate clinic equipment and supplies
• Attend monthly clinical competency training
• Ensure equipment calibration and maintenance
• HA HIPAA compliance and safety rules
• Attend client safety meetings
• Assist in wellness activities
• Maintain neat, clean clinic appearance
