JPS Health Network in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an EMT PRN to perform a range of technical duties in the Emergency Services division. The role supports direct and indirect patient care, assists with treatments, and responds to emergencies.

Responsibilities include performing EKGs, venipuncture, IV skills, and basic patient care while coordinating with nursing staff. Requires EMT-B TX or EMT-P certification, current BLS, and registration; prior EMS experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Completion of the Basic Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-B TX) or Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic (EMT-P) curriculum as defined by the State of Texas.
• State Registration as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-B TX) or Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic (EMT-P).
• Current JPS recognized Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and must be maintained throughout employment.

Responsabilités

• Performs EKGs, venipuncture, IV skills, and bedside testing.
• Provides emergency first aid treatment.
• Responds to medical emergencies.
• Transports patients by wheelchair or stretcher.
• Notifies nurse of abnormal findings or changes in patient status.
• Performs clerical functions and navigates Epic.
