Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a PRN EMS Dispatcher for our Louisville, KY operation. The role involves coordinating with EMS crews for patient transportation to Baptist Health facilities and ensuring data accuracy and timely documentation.

Proficiency in EPIC and related EMS reporting tools is required, with CADS certification pursued within 12 months of hire. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, EMT education preferred, and at least one year of dispatch/communication experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required, EMT education preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year prior dispatch/communication experience required
• Working knowledge and use of MS Office products
• Must obtain Certified Ambulance Documentation Specialist (CADS) within 1 year from hire date

Responsibilities

• Communicate with EMS crews for patient transportation to and/or from Baptist Health facilities.
• Maintain accuracy and expediency of collating documentation.
• Maintain knowledge of EPIC software and EMS patient care reporting tools.
• Protect PHI and demonstrate strong communication and prioritization skills.
