Job summary

SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital - Wentzville seeks an RN for the Emergency Department on a PRN basis. Provides direct nursing care to patients with complex needs in alignment with hospital policies and protocols.

Responsibilities include data collection, triage, assessment, care coordination, patient education and leadership in clinical practice. Licenses include BLS HCP, RN and advanced certifications as applicable across states.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing or licensing equivalency.
• No prior experience required.
• Active RN license in target state(s).

Responsibilities

• Collects comprehensive data pertinent to the health care consumer's health and/or situation.
• Triages patients to prioritize care and expedite those needing immediate attention.
• Analyzes assessment data to determine diagnosis or issues.
• Implements, coordinates and educates to promote safe care.
• Evaluates progress toward outcomes and communicates effectively.
