Job description

Are you an experienced EMT looking for a flexible opportunity to make a real impact? Ramp Health is hiring PRN EMTs to support our onsite medical response team in Rayville, LA. In this as-needed role, you'll deliver prompt, professional care during medical incidents and contribute to a safe, healthy work environment for all employees.

What You'll Do:

  • Respond to Medical Events: Act as the first responder to injuries, illnesses, or other health-related incidents at the worksite.

  • Deliver Immediate Care: Provide hands-on treatment using your quick response kit and professional training.

  • Triage & Escalate: Assess each situation and determine the appropriate level of care, whether onsite or through referral to external medical facilities.

  • Support Medical Transport: Accompany injured employees to Occupational Health Clinics or Emergency Rooms if necessary.

  • Track and Follow Up: Monitor recovery progress and ensure that employees follow any medical restrictions or return-to-work guidelines.

  • Document Everything: Maintain clear, accurate reports of all medical incidents in alignment with company protocols.

Who You Are:

  • Certified EMT with an active license in the state of Louisiana

  • Experienced in emergency medical response and first-aid procedures

  • Cool under pressure with a calm, professional demeanor

  • A clear communicator, comfortable interacting with employees, supervisors, and medical staff

  • Detail-oriented, especially when it comes to logging incidents and maintaining records

  • A team player who’s ready to step in when needed and support a culture of safety

Compensation: $29/hour
