Job summary

Baptist Health Hamburg is seeking a Registered Nurse - Emergency Department for PRN, third shift. The ED delivers 24/7 emergency care for all ages in a modern, collaborative environment with 24-hour EMS access.

You will assess patient needs, develop and implement care plans, provide direct care, and contribute to quality and safety. Kentucky RN licensure with ADN/BSN is required; BLS is mandatory and ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure or work permit in Kentucky.
• Bachelor's or an associate degree in nursing from an accredited college/university.
• Applicants with an associate degree in nursing and less than 10 years of experience must enroll within 12 months of hire in a bachelor's degree program and must have achieved the degree within 5 years.
• BLS certification is required. If not already certified, must obtain BLS within 30 days of their hire date.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP and dysrhythmia class as required by department of assignment.

The Emergency Department at Baptist Health Hamburg is a part of a 344,000-square-foot medical center offering 24/7 emergency care for patients of all ages. The ED includes specialty treatment rooms, an Extended Care Unit for short-stay observation, and access to 24-hour EMS transport, including ALS ambulance support.
