Job summary

Heart Hospital of Austin is seeking an Echo Vascular Technologist to perform non-invasive cardiovascular procedures, including echocardiography and vascular studies. You will work with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient diagnostic completion while maintaining a safe, clean environment.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of adult echocardiography experience (preferred), proficiency in Stress Echo/TEE, and ARDMS/CCI certifications.

Qualifications

• One year experience performing adult echocardiograms – preferred
• Proficiency in Stress Echo, TEE – preferred
• Proficiency in Carotid ultrasound, Trans Cranial Doppler studies – preferred
• Associate’s Degree in Ultrasound Technology education
• Basic Life Support (BLS) as per policy
• ARDMS/CCI certifications (RDCS/RCS/RVT/RVS) preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform non-invasive cardiovascular procedures including echocardiography and vascular studies
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care
• Maintain equipment and ensure a safe, clean work environment
• Demonstrate competency in arrhythmia interpretation
